During the triathlon on 13 August, there will be changes in the placement of stops in Ķīpsala and several public transport routes
In connection with the competition planned by the Triathlon Federation in Ķīpsala, on 13 August from the beginning of traffic until approximately 18:00 traffic will be closed on the off-ramp and on-ramp to Vanšu Bridge. Both Ķīpsala stops will be re-located to the main road.
Route No 9 trolleybuses will run from Stacijas Square to Iļģuciems by the route to Uzvaras Boulevard and further through Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and then they will follow their regular route.
Route No 13 buses from their final destination of Preču – 2 to Babītes Station will take the route to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, further along Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street, Slokas Street, Dagmāras Street, Buļļu Street and then they will follow their regular route.
Bus No 57 will not be running on 13 August.
From the beginning of traffic until 18:00 passengers who are subscribed to the tickets for changed bus and trolleybus routes can use them for other bus and trolleybus routes without registering them in order to get to their destination.
Please notice, that
- Route No 5, 12 and 25 trolleybuses will be running straight through Vanšu Bridge in both directions.
- Route No 13, 30, 37, 41 and 53 buses will be running straight through Vanšu Bridge in both directions.
- Route No 9, 12, 14 and 25 trolleybuses from the second trolleybus park will take the route to Uzvaras Boulevard, further along Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and then they will follow their regular route, respectively to Iļģuciems, Āgenskalna priedes or along Valdemāra Street in the direction of the city centre.
